A letter of Mahatma...

Dear Indians(of undivided India)

Hope you people are enjoying your independence...I am mohandas..You might have read about me in
your textbooks.People use to call me Mahatma ,but i was just a common man.Give me a chance to
walk you through my life of struggle,freedom.....and downfall. All through my life I fought for
Complete Independence(purna swaraj)...The only weapon i had was Non-Violence.I devoted my
complete life for my country and its people...and ironically it is the same country which has taken the
life out of me.I died a couple of year before they declared me dead.

I cannot teach you violence, as I do not myself believe in it. I can only teach you not to bow your heads before any one even at the cost of your life.
The only freedom i dreamt off was through the means of Non violence. I am telling you an
incidence....The wave of complete Independence was sweeping though out the country during 1930's.
The Civil Disobedience movement was on its peak ....but I called off  the movement because of the
violence created by people at Chauri Chaura....i was not wary of any form of criticism....but i believe
freedom could not be achieved at expense of someone's life...

“I do not want my house to be walled in on all sides and my windows to be stuffed. I want the cultures of all the lands to be blown about my house as freely as possible. But I refuse to be blown off my feet by any.”
Thousands of bullets couldn't have given me pain tantamount to a even a single hindu - muslim riot. The country  was stepping  towards Independence but engulfed by the wave hate and communalism. Not in my wildest of dreams i have seen my self fighting with our own people .Independence of India Act has been passed by then...But the cost of it was something both countries have to pay in centuries to come...Still I had courage to fight against a full british empire...but i was too old to fight with our own people...Nehru was giving historical speech of tryst with destiny....but i didn't had courage to join the celebration over the funeral of my brothers....While Delhi was celebrating country's first independence...I was fasting unto death at calcutta...The flood of Communalism was sweeping away nationalism.....but though the barrier of old mahatma(till his last breath!)

....
......
now i am no more but i have a question to ask.Where is my country Bharat for which millions of my fellow brothers died for?
you fought for your freedom but got hostage by your hatred. It isn't the India we died for.Today you are killing your brother in the name of your religion, choosing the leader not for the sake of your country but for the sake of your community. what Godse killed was just my body but you people are murdering my soul every single day!

A retrospect...

Kashmir....A Heaven On Earth...just like any other true Indian ,it intrigues me as well...A special state(both politically and a-politically) occupying a place of enormous interest(and influence) in India's strategic arena .. So i thought to go into its history to explore it more..
It was just like other 565 princely states whose future was still to be decided (through instrument of ascension)..Ruled by a hindu maharaja Hari Singh having majority of muslims denizens..His desire was  to rule it independently ,event dreamt of making it a switzerland of east! But notorious pakistan started injecting un stability   in the kingdom by sending armed tribals(jihadist)..In the name of holy-war they started creating mass violence ...killed who so ever comes in path..hindu or muslims..childrens or womens..Maharaja Hari singh pleaded Indian govt. for military support..But for that he has to sign Instrument of ascension to India...And thus authorises govt of India to take over the valley and throw the notorious element away...A great secular leader and founder of National conference "Sheikh Abdullah" played a vital role in spreading pro India feeling among the natives...Kashmir was now legally a part of India...Now I don't want to comment  here on Pandit Nehru's decision to seek United Nation for intervention in kashmir ,which was country's internal affair ...left  it solely on reader to decide the validness and usefulness of the decision.
65 years has been passed now...But Condition is still the same..."State is now ruled "omar abdullah" who is  the grandson of Sheikh abdullah...pakistan still injecting un-stability by violating ceasefire  and sending so called jihadists...growing communal riots and anti nationalist feeling...and finally the prevailing curfew in the valley! Just Another Day

The sound of an alarm can never be a pleasing one(though how much pleasing the tune may be) After crying for more than half an hour it finally got the justice….its 6:30 in the morning…
The newspaper has already been delivered…But wait lets take a nap of 5mins….and seriously  one and half hour got passed in those 5 mins(Even Einstein can't explain that paradox!)..Waked up quickly to grasp up the quick look on latest happenings…But that's what i got.. news are all same stereotyped into one of the following categories..
a. communalisation of politics.
b. Politicisation of Crime
c.Criminalisation of society
d. Accusation on the opposition.
e. Natural disaster and the subsequent politics.
f. Financial turmoil with political explanation.
g.Decline of poverty along with the poverty line(no sarcasm! )
h.Shine/Decline of Indian cricket(both comes alternatively so extremely difficult to judge..again no sarcasm!).
….
….
hey Times Up!
Have to get ready for office …meanwhile lunch packed by maid(who keeps my horrible memory of hostel mess intact).
Office hours are all the same….(for more info about this segment goto my earlier blog)

Backed from office…opened the television …and here comes the all stereotypical typical issues flooding in the digital media though the gates of news channel outlets.
